Jim and Barbara Richards farm a tiny vineyard on Spring Mountain, producing just a few hundred cases of Merlot and Cabernet that are among the most celebrated mountain wines in Napa. The Merlot, in particular, is routinely cited as one of the best in California. The property is intimate and the tasting is personal, usually with the Richards family themselves.
