About This Estate
Bob Hartwell planted his vineyard on a hillside in Stags Leap District in 1985, and the estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are among the most concentrated wines in the appellation. The tiny production (around 1,500 cases) and hillside terroir create wines of extraordinary depth. Tastings are by appointment at the estate, with views across the valley floor.
