Evan and Britt Pontoriero farm estate vineyards on a foggy ridge above Occidental, producing tiny quantities of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from one of the coolest sites in Sonoma. The wines are bracing, mineral, and site specific, with a tension and acidity that speaks to the extreme coastal conditions. The tasting room is in an old barn on the property. Production is under 1,000 cases.
