About This Estate

One of Napa most revered and understated estates. Fred and Eleanor McCrea planted Chardonnay on this Spring Mountain property in 1947, making Stony Hill one of the oldest Chardonnay producers in California. The wine is made in an deliberately restrained, Burgundian style that ages beautifully for decades. The mailing list has a years-long wait, and tastings are intimate, family-hosted affairs.
