About This Estate
David Graves and Dick Ward founded Saintsbury in 1981, naming it after the legendary British wine writer George Saintsbury. The winery helped establish Carneros as a premier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay region. The Garnet Pinot (their entry-level bottling) is one of the best wine values in Napa, and the estate Brown Ranch Pinot is excellent. A Carneros pioneer.
