Born from a legendary partnership between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Opus One stands as one of Napa Valleys most iconic estates. The striking crescent shaped winery, designed by Johnson Fain, sits low against the Oakville landscape, nearly disappearing into the vineyards at harvest time. Inside, the Grand Chai stretches 100 meters with rows of French oak barrels, while the rooftop terrace offers sweeping views of the Mayacamas Mountains. The estates 100 organically farmed acres produce a single Bordeaux style blend that has defined California luxury winemaking for over four decades.
