Don Thompson founded Napa Smith as a craft brewery and winery under one roof, producing both estate wines and artisan beers in downtown Napa. The taproom pours both, making it a rare find for groups where not everyone wants wine. The Cabernet is solid, and the Ginger Wheat Ale and Organic IPA are excellent craft beers. A perfect compromise stop for mixed groups.
