Louis M. Martini founded his winery in 1933, making it one of the first post Prohibition wineries in Napa. The Cabernet Sauvignon (especially the Monte Rosso Vineyard bottling from a legendary Sonoma Mountain site) is consistently excellent and remarkably well priced. Now owned by E. & J. Gallo, the historic St. Helena tasting room maintains the family legacy of quality wine at fair prices.
