About This Estate
Joe Swan was one of the true pioneers of Russian River Valley winemaking in the 1960s and 70s, and his son-in-law Joel Peterson went on to found Ravenswood. The tiny estate produces old-vine Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Cotes du Rosa (a Rhone-style blend) from some of the most historic vineyards in the valley. The tasting room is a converted barn, and the wines are a living piece of Sonoma history.
