About This Estate
Joseph Phelps (of Napa Insignia fame) planted this vineyard near the tiny town of Freestone, just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from this extremely cool site are taut, mineral, and age-worthy. While the Freestone tasting room has closed, the wines remain available through the Joseph Phelps portfolio and are worth seeking out.
