Welcome to the most theatrical tasting experience in Napa Valley. The Del Dotto family caves — hand-carved and lined with barrels — host tastings where you sample directly from the barrel, guided by flashlight-wielding hosts. It is pure spectacle, and the wines — especially the Cabernet from their Rutherford and St. Helena estates — are genuinely excellent. The Venice-themed cave is unforgettable.
