About This Estate

Founded by French winemaker Bernard Portet in 1972, Clos du Val brought Bordeaux sensibility to Stags Leap and never looked back. Their 1972 Cabernet was included in the famous Judgment of Paris tasting. The estate's French-inspired gardens, new modern tasting room, and structured, elegant wines make this a must for Francophiles.
