About This Estate

Donn Chappellet planted his vineyard on Pritchard Hill in 1967 — one of the first to bet on mountain viticulture in Napa. The steep, rocky, high-altitude site produces some of the most concentrated and age-worthy Cabernets in the entire valley. The iconic pyramid winery and the family's quiet dedication to excellence make this a pilgrimage for serious wine lovers.
