An authentically built 13th century Tuscan castle rising from the hills of Calistoga, Castello di Amorosa is one of the most visually extraordinary wineries in the world. The 121,000 square foot structure took 15 years to build using 8,000 tons of hand chiseled stone, 200 shipping containers of imported Italian materials, and centuries old construction techniques. Beyond the spectacle, the castle houses serious winemaking with Italian varietals crafted in underground cellars. This is wine country at its most theatrical and unforgettable.
