Chris Barber is a winemaker obsessed with Sonoma heritage varietals, producing wines from old-vine Carignane, Colombard, Valdiguié, and other grapes that California pioneers planted a century ago. The wines are fresh, juicy, and endlessly drinkable, and the prices are refreshingly low. The tasting room in Healdsburg is casual and fun, and Chris enthusiasm for these forgotten grapes is contagious.
