About This Estate

Gordon Getty and Gavin Newsom created PlumpJack in 1995, and the estate Cabernet from Oakville has become one of Napa most acclaimed wines. PlumpJack was a pioneer in using screwcaps for premium wine, proving that great Cabernet does not need a cork. The estate on the Silverado Trail is modern and the wines are powerful, polished, and age worthy. The Reserve Cabernet is the crown jewel.
